AGM & CLUB AWARDS 2022 / 23

This year's AGM was a very special one, as we thanked 3 long serving members Brian Purnell, Jeff & Forster & Graham Mills who have decided to step down from their leadership roles.
Clubman of the The Year
Phil Wiltshire
Voted for by club managers, Phil was recognised for the various tasks done throughout the year, notably the organisation of our fantastic summer tournament.
Manager of the The Year
Craig Taylor (Under 16)
Voted for by his peers, well done to Craig Taylor on an impressive season which saw his Under 16s win the Avon Youth League Cup. The team were just 1 point short of the Div 1 League title also.
Fred Hardwell Shield
Brian Purnell
This award is in honour of the late great Bris Jrs founder, Fred Hardwell - it is awarded to those deserving special praise for going above and beyond. This year it was a very emotional Brian Purnell who took the award. Recognition for his outstanding leadership this last 21 years as Club Chairman.
Steve Tucker Memorial (Referee award)
Will Hatwood & Ollie Lovell
This award is in honour of the late Steve Tucker, and is given to the most deserving referee in our Summer Tournament, This year, we had 2 deserving winners - Will Hatwood & Ollie Lovell. Both young referees were unanimously recognised as showing superb maturity and enthusiasm for the difficult task of refereeing - both a credit to themselves, their parents, and their managers (shown below taking the awards on their behalf). It's great to see our young players making such a contribution - well deserved Will & Ollie!
